Located inside the historic Main Street Station building, the Viroqua Public Market is a place where local vendors sell a variety of goods in a space designed to look like an outdoor market that is actually indoors and open throughout the year. The street lamps, large fountain, and occasional tree add to the ambiance and give the impression of being outside, at a quaint European street market; with details down to hand-painted brick walls and a real pair ring-neck doves.
Besides the large courtyard area, there are four smaller shops and three large street-front stores. The main street shops include: Bramble Books, VIVA Art Gallery, and Rooted Spoon Kitchen Table. Inside you can find Greenman Music and Essence of Clarity (a new age healing center).
In the winter, we host the indoor farmers market. Coffee can always be found across the street at Blue Dog (Brew Dog), and 16 flavors of ice cream can be found just down the street at Dave's Pizza. In the summer, the Viroqua Farmer's Market is just across the street, every Saturday.
Stroll through the beautiful art gallery, the charming bookstore, or browse the great selection of jewelry, gifts, candy and canned goods, and antiques in the market. There is a wide variety of items...you won't believe it! There is truly something for everyone.
We are a family-run business from Viroqua. We love the town and it's people, and so everything we do is for YOU. We always put the customers and vendors first.
